ALL OVER NEWTON launched at the beginning of the pandemic as a way of connecting the Newton community with contact-free food resources. It quickly became clear that Newton’s residents were eager to support small businesses—as long as they knew what products or services they offered, how they were differentiated, and where the businesses were located. Since then, All Over Newton has expanded, connecting the community to all types of small businesses in Newton.

The company was started by long-time Auburndale resident, Lauren Berman. With a background in marketing and sales, a passion for small business, and years of Newton-based experience organizing and running events, it’s a perfect match. After earning an MBA in marketing and finance from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business, Lauren worked with companies as large as IBM and as small as Dirty Boys Composting. She calls on her background in writing, advertising, marketing, sales, consulting, and events management to support Newton’s businesses.
