St. Dog Pet Salon is a certified “Fear Free Practice,” with staff trained on how to calm anxious dogs and employing techniques to minimize any pet stress related to grooming. A former large animal veterinarian from Brazil, owner Camila Bertola decided years ago that she prefers grooming dogs and cats to the clinical aspects of veterinary medicine. With her animal expertise and a long resume in pet grooming, Camila is St. Dog’s groomer, and along with Joaquim Maris, who takes care of bathing, drying and brushing, this team gives each pet their full attention, making necessary accomodations for anxious pets—like using low noise, gentle blowdryers when required.
